The primary mode of action for metformin, a major pharmaceutical drug for diabetes is the activation of AMPK. When used correctly, berberine can be an effective AMPK activator and offers other significant health advantages. However, standard berberine supplementation may have limited results for some, as oral absorption can be comprised.

Natroceutics Berberine Complex, therefore, has been developed using specialised delivery technology which overcomes the challenges of regular berberine supplementation whilst remaining scientifically validated.

Recommended use:  Adults and children over 12 years take 1 capsule once or twice per day at the start of the largest meals of the day or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Contraindications:

• Patients with hypersensitivity to berberine, tree turmeric, goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape, European barberry, phellodendron, chromium, leather, or any of the other components of the formulation.
• Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Avoid concomitant use with Ciclosporin.
• Chromium supplementation should be avoided in patients with renal dysfunction.
• Consult with a healthcare provider before concomitant use with anticoagulant, antiplatelet and antidiabetic medication.

Care Instructions:

• Opened: Store at or below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in the outer container until required for use.
• Unopened: Store at or below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use within 30 days.
