Because it is a whole fruit vitamin, Citrus C Plus does not only contain vitamins but also the other phytochemicals and nutritional cofactors present in whole fruit. These factors are important in the way the body uses nutrition.
By including vitamin D3 and K2 to the product the formula now contains 5 essential elements for the support of a strong immune system. . The D3 in the product is derived from algae and is, therefore, one of the few vitamin D’s that are suitable for vegans. As you probably know, it is important to take vitamin K2 with D3 in order to help the body use calcium properly to build bone instead of depositing it in arteries and soft tissue. The vitamin K2 in Citrus C Plus is derived from the metabolites of vitamin-producing microbes.
