I think it’s quite symbolic that this talk took place at the start of March, a month named after Mars the god of war! Did you know before he become popularized as a war-monger, Mars was actually the fertility deity and oversaw new growth and encouraged the continuation of life? In essence, the very same philosophy Lucy, CEO and Founder of VitaSoul, also promotes.
Total well-being for a healthy life, naturally!
Lucy presented an insightful talk with a lovely group of moms and moms-to-be, hosted at Ubuntu Baba. The venue was absolutely beautiful, every mom and babies dream… fully equipped with all necessities and of course baby wearing carriers sprinkled with magic sleepy dust to make sure everybody (big and small) was in absolute comfort.
The ladies started the morning with a perky cup of coffee and freshly baked muffins. You could have sworn these ladies had met before, the conversation flowed like old friends as they shared experiences, concerns and baby related tips. The atmosphere was super relaxed, as the ladies received some spoiling with neck massages. Megan, the Ubuntu Baba host was absolutely amazing and provided extra hands to help with all the beautiful babas (who left me feeling quite broody) while the mommies enjoyed the much needed massages.
Lucy gave a little background on the humble beginnings of VitaSoul, shared her personal journey and discussed the various natural and clean supplement options for ultimate health pre, during and post pregnancy. The workshop was based on the information in her recent blog Back to Basics – Fertility, Pregnancy & Breastfeeding. She also touched on the best basic supplement options for children.
The talk provided the perfect platform for the ladies to pick Lucy’s brain and ask all the questions they had regarding supplementation. They also got valuable input from like-minded moms.
Every lady left with an awesome prize, thanks to our amazing partners; Bach, Better You, Coyne Healthcare, Good Health, Sfera Bio Nutrition and Spatone, it kind of felt like the Oprah show!
Look out for future VitaSoul Events, Workshops & Talks coming up!
